Venison Snack Stick Program

At South Carolina Hunters for the Hungry, we’re dedicated to providing healthy, protein-rich food to those who need it most—especially children. Our Snack Stick Program delivers delicious, nutrient-packed venison snack sticks to children across the state, helping combat hunger one healthy snack at a time.

How It Works:

Venison Donations: Local hunters donate deer, which are processed into high-quality venison snack sticks.

Processing: The venison is processed into safe, healthy snacks by our trusted partners.

Distribution: The snack sticks are distributed through schools and backpack programs, reaching children who rely on these meals over weekends and holidays.

Why Venison Snack Sticks?

Locally Sourced: Each snack stick is made from deer harvested by South Carolina hunters.

Packed with Protein: Venison is a lean, natural protein that supports healthy growth and development in children.

Kid-Friendly & Portable: Snack sticks are easy to carry and perfect for on-the-go snacking.

The Impact:

In the past year, we’ve distributed over 35,000 venison snack sticks to children in need across South Carolina. These snacks provide a crucial source of protein and energy to kids who might otherwise go hungry over the weekends when school meals aren’t available.

How You Can Help:

Donate Venison: Hunters, your deer donations are the backbone of this program.

Contribute Financially: Your donations help cover processing and distribution costs, ensuring more children receive these healthy snacks.

Volunteer: Help us package and deliver snack sticks to schools throughout the state.
