Official Rules & Policies
Eligibility
Participants must be at least 18 years of age to enter. Winners of any firearm prize must be 21 or older and legally eligible to possess a firearm under federal, state, and local laws.
Entry
Each ticket purchased is entered into the annual drawing. Tickets must be purchased through official South Carolina Hunters for the Hungry channels. All sales are final. No refunds.
Drawing Date
Ticket sales close November 7th, 2026. Winners will be drawn on November 14th, 2026. A video of the drawing will be posted to our website and social media at 6:00 PM that evening.
Notification of Winners
Winners will be announced in a video of the drawing posted at 6:00 PM on November 14th, 2026, and contacted via the information provided at the time of ticket purchase. If a winner cannot be reached within 14 days, the prize may be forfeited.
Claiming Prizes
All prizes must be claimed within 30 days of the drawing. Unclaimed prizes after this time will be forfeited.
Firearm Prize Policy
All winners will pick up their firearm at Shooter’s Choice of SC, 944 Sunset Blvd, West Columbia, SC 29169.
- The winner drawn must be the person picking up the firearm.
- The winner must pass a federal background check to receive the firearm.
- A government-issued photo ID, phone number, and/or email address are required at pick-up.
- There is no charge for the firearm transfer.
Out-of-State Winners
- Any out-of-state winner of a handgun must have it shipped to a licensed firearm dealer (FFL) in their state.
- Handguns will be shipped once the winner provides a copy of their local dealer’s FFL to Shooter’s Choice of SC.
Ineligible Winners (Failed Background Check)
If a winner fails the required background check, they may opt for a $250 cash-out alternative. This option allows the winner to continue supporting South Carolina Hunters for the Hungry while maintaining a positive experience.
Other Prizes
Non-firearm prizes may be shipped directly to winners. Any shipping costs associated with non-firearm prizes will be covered by South Carolina Hunters for the Hungry.
General Conditions
South Carolina Hunters for the Hungry reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if any listed prize becomes unavailable. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash (except the $250 alternative noted above).
Drawing Extension Clause
We reserve the right to extend the drawing date as needed.
Taxes
All federal, state, and local taxes associated with the receipt or use of any prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Agreement to Rules
By purchasing a ticket, entrants agree to abide by these official rules and decisions made by South Carolina Hunters for the Hungry, which shall be final and binding in all respects.
